Emerald Star Bush Community Partnership Project

The Emerald Star Bush Community Partnership Project was set up in 2012. It is made up of an enthusiastic group of people from different areas of the community, including local residents, representatives from the Emerald Village Committee, Cardinia Shire Environment Team, Emerald for Sustainability and Johns Hill Land Care Group. Its primary aim is to help raise awareness in the area about the endangered nature of the Emerald Star Bush and to encourage everyone to play a part in helping to protect it. The group is also playing a big role in the propagation of the bush as well as identification for locals who suspect they have one on their property.
